A Message from the Club President
|
 |
Here we are in the middle of a
spring heat wave – way too hot for
some of us. But watch those plants
grow! I hope you had a nice
Memorial Day holiday with family
and friends. Putting something on
the grill makes it all happen.
Summer brings us all outdoor.
On a special note, Nick Caputo was
recently nominated to the Business Hall Board. Nick will
bring the Hall fresh new ideas. He is dedicated at helping
improve the bottom line of the Hall business.
Congratulations to Nick for stepping up!
The “Musical Memories” Dinner Show was a success
with 182 people attending. Everyone was pleased with
the entertainment and the food.
The May Pasta Event was successful with 562 meals sold.
Many thanks to the many members that helped out
during the two days. Your generous support is greatly
appreciated. The cannoli sale continues to be a big hit.
Coming up in July is the Wyandotte Independence Day
parade and the Member’s Picnic. (See related articles).
Hope to see you all there. A chicken roast is scheduled on
September 19, 2010 to help defray cost of roof repair over
the kitchen.
On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, the club will host the June
Pasta Event. Thanks in advance to all the members who
will be helping during the two days. The pasta events are
a major fundraiser for the Club.
We hope this newsletter finds all of you in good health.
God Bless you and your family. And please, support our
fundraising events.
